"Why go out and socialize, when you can make music instead?"
The Basics
Full Name: Alfie George Boenman
Nickname/Alias: Alfs, Jo, and Af.
Species: Snow Lynx and Bobcat hybrid. Also known as a Blynx!
Gender: Male
Age: Thirteen years old, born on August 23rd.
Occupation: Alfie is homeschooled, mainly so he can help his mom out with his little sister, Bonnie.
District: Alfie and his family live in Tundratown!
Appearance
Fur/Tail: Alfie, unlike his parents, has a light tan color as his main fur color. He has only a few stripes on him, two on both of his cheeks. Alfie inherited a longer tail with a black tip and stripes along it. His ears are tufted, the fur for the tufts being a dark black with stripes that follow the outside of his ears. His paw pad is a light pink, his left back paw specifically having a splash of black on the center, largest pad. Alfie's fur is typically kept natural, and he doesn't like to mess around with it like his mother seems to do.
Clothing: Alfie tends to wear a soft sweater and pants. The sleeves of the sweater and collar are a light blue, the rest being white with an eight-note in the middle of his shirt. Alfie's pants are a shade of dark brown. They are jeans that are a little loose on him - but he's not one to complain about clothes. They are some of the comfiest pants he's ever worn.
Sometimes Alfie will be wearing a light gray hoodie along with his pants. He might even be wearing a regular long sleeved shirt instead of a sweater. The long sleeved shirt's color can be anything, really. He likes shirts with designs. Just something that's not a Shazam! Look at me! kind of shirt. He's not one to want to seem like an attention hog.
Overview: Alfie does not have the looks that a mighty big cat should - he is not broad with muscles or even very fast or agile. In fact, he is quite the clutz and tends to trip over the air. Alfie, however, has a wonderful posture, which tends to make his mother, a sloucher, quite jealous. The Blynx isn't as tall as some might think, seeing as he takes after his father. His height, at the moment, is exactly 3 feet and 4 inches, making him come close to the height of his mother. Alfie has bright yellow eyes.
Personality
Personality Description: Alfie is a really chill and down to earth kind of animal on the outside. It takes a lot to get on his nerves, and he has an amazing amount of patience. But, Alfie is secretly very cautious and always on edge. Having been brought up to always be on edge, it is like second nature for the young Blynx to always keep an eye out, especially when it comes to his little sister. He can sometimes get a little jumpy around very loud and noisy situations, and because of his inability to properly pronounce words, he'll typically grab his little sister and take her somewhere quieter and safer.
Alfie loves to read, hang out with his sister, and of course, play instruments (specifically his Ukulele). The cub, around his family, still doesn't tend to show his own needs or wants, in hopes to keep his mother and sister from worrying about him. Alfie doesn't ask for much. He also likes to tackle things one problem at a time, so it gives him a little bit to think.
Alfie, if you cannot tell by now, is extremely fond of his sister and mother, but probably more fond of his sister. He absolutely adores her, and is very protective of her. If you mess with her, you have to deal with him - the angry little fluff nugget.

History
History: Alfie was born late on a foggy night in the middle of the Rainforest District. Far away from their home, Vivian, his mother, was forced to wait a few days to arrive home, seeing as Alfie was sick at birth, and was also unable to wail for long periods at a time, concerning the doctors. His father, George, was luckily with them. Soon, the doctors found out the reason. The small, newborn cub had been born unable to speak. There was something wrong with his vocal chords, that didn't allow him to speak. In fact, they found that he could only hold a noise for about five seconds in total. Valencia and Alexander, his mother and father, were distraught to hear this. But, life moves on. The now family of three moved into a small apartment with hardly enough room or money to support all three of them. With, Alexander working both day and night, Alfie hardly saw his dad. He didn't get to form much of a bond with him. Valencia, however, spent every moment of the day with him. Alexander didn't seem to care about his family, and soon became very distant. As the years went on, Alfie grew up. As soon as he could, the little Blynx began to learn Sign Language and English. Because he can still hear, he catches on with conversations pretty well, using Sign Language to respond and talk on his own. Alexander was still not very close with his family.
At the age of four, however, that changed. Alexander had lost a job, and the little loosing money quickly. Because of this, Alfie was put into daycare so his mother could get a job to help sustain the funds. Luckily, both parents had day jobs so they could both be home with Alfie at night. They spent the nights together, both working as one to teach Alfie how to get along with others, spend time with him, and just love on the little guy. Alexander though, was noticeably still not very close with Alfie. Valencia, still loved him though.
Alfie used to love daycare. He would enjoy of moment of it, and would play with all the other cubs and baby animals like any four year old would. However, the Blynx soon realized something. No one there really understood him. He could understand them perfectly, but they couldn't understand him, no matter how slowly he signed. Because of this, he began to feel alone. The other kids would leave him because they got frustrated over the fact that they couldn't understand him. Being little, they had no idea that what they were doing was rude, but it still hurt Alfie. His parents tried to switch him from daycare to daycare, but no matter what, he still hated it.
Either way, life went on. Eventually, Alexander found another job, and Valencia was eventually able to quit hers. Immediately, Alfie was taken out of Daycare, and it was decided that he would be homeschooled. Life was great from there on! He got to see his mom all the time, and Alfie loved to learn! He soaked up information like a sponge does water.
Then, when Alfie turned five, his Grandpa came over to live with them, after his Grandma died. Together, the now family of four moved to a little house in Tundratown. Alfie's Grandpa had no trouble in helping out with Alfie's homeschooling so Valencia could take a job, which is exactly what she did. His Grandpa taught him all sorts of new things. But one thing stood out among the rest. Ukuleles. Aflie Grandpa was one with the instruments, as his family likes to say. And one of the instruments he played was the Ukulele, which Alfie just so happened to love.
Of course, the old timer couldn't turn Alfie away when he'd asked to pick a string on the Uke. Eventually, picking turned into strumming, and strumming turned into chords. Soon, the little almost six year old was playing full songs, and was enjoying every moment of it. If Alfie wasn't doing school, he was on his Uke. If he was bored, he was on his Uke. Having his Grandpa there with him made up for his mom working.
Years went on, and Alfie soon turned eight years old. By then, the Blynx was reading, writing, and had found other hobbies. He had taken a liking to playing card games and reading fantasy books and drawing. While he still played his Uke, Alfie had found a love for other things. However, this was the year his life changed drastically, with the birth of his little sister, Bonnie. Born to the same Lynx father and Bobcat mother he had, the new little Blynx was quite annoying at first. Alfie didn't like the fact that she was around. He wasn't allowed to play his Uke whenever he pleased, and everyone was seeming to only care for her. A.fie had begun to hold grudges against her, and refused to interact with her. Until, one day, he held her for the first time. Bonnie was quietly staring into his yellow eyes, as he stared into her own yellow pair. She hiccuped, and put a paw on his nose, laughing as she did so. At first he was confused and startled, and gave her back to his mom. But as Valencia put the baby over her shoulder, Bonnie began to cry and reached out for Alfie, tears in her eyes as she stared at him.
Suddenly, Alfie understood everything. From that moment on, Alfie did everything he could to be with her and make her laugh. He would sit down and read beside her, or practice new card tricks as she slept beside him. As the years went on, Alfie and Bonnie grew closer. When he was ten though, it seemed as though his life was taking a turn for the worst.
That was the year his beloved Grandpa died. He'd died peacefully, and in his sleep. But that didn't matter to Alfie. He was gone, and his dad wasn't helping either. After his Grandpa had died, Aexander was getting worse. He'd avoid Alfie and Bonnie, talk badly about them and his Grandpa, and even began to hit Valencia. It wasn't months later that they soon divorced, and Alexander was left to go find a place for himself.
Alfie was now at home almost all day with Bonnie, since his mother now had to take on two jobs, and was hardly home. This puts us where he is now, caring for Bonnie more often than not. doing his own school work and being in charge of the house. He cooks for her, cleans for her, and has even picked up sewing.
