Appearance
Fur/Tail: Unlike most raccoons with their traditional grey and white pallet, Rylie’s fur is a light ginger colour with a dark brown ‘bandit mask’ that colour over her yes. Her snout and above her eyebrows are a pure white colour, further giving her this bandit look to her like most coonies are famous for. Her tail is long and puffy, horizontally striped in dark brown rings all along her tail. Most of her body’s fur has a mix of dark brown, ginger, and white strands. Clothing: On the days that she isn’t working, Rylie is normally seen in a black tanktop with stretchy jean shorts and a pair of black leggings to go under them. Her clothing hugs her body to avoid being caught on anything when she goes climbing around the city, maximizing her agility and flexibility. While she’s at work, the only thing that really changes about her outfit is the shirt she wears. Overtop her tanktop she’ll wear an electric blue vest with the company’s logo on the upper right of the vest.
Rarely will you ever see Rylie in a dress, but if she is in one it’s probably for a special occasion, and you bet your tail she’s going to have spandex under that dress.
Overview: Rylie stands at the average height for a female raccoon with an hourglass frame and a lean muscle build, giving her the ability many raccoon have to climb various buildings and objects. Her eyes, masked by the dark brown patch across them, are a light hazel colour and shift about quickly to take in her surroundings. This may make people think she’s up to no good, when really she’s extra observant about everything around her. Her body language says different, however, giving off this chill and friendly demeanor to her.
Most often you’ll find Rylie’s ears twitching around to take in the sounds of Zootopia as well as expressing her emotions like sadness, excitement, or anger while her body remains cool and composed. It’s her way of dealing with nasty people or nasty customers who want to give her crap.
Personality
Rylie comes off as a chill and cool person. She always seems to know what she’s doing, what she’s saying, and doesn’t seem to get mad at the more irritating of people. As a tech specialist, she needs this trait to deal with thick headed individuals. This doesn’t mean she isn’t prone to anger, it’s just unlikely she’ll lash out at them right then and there. She’s rather good at hiding her displeasure with people.
Unlike the stereotype that raccoons are always up to no good, Rylie is actually a friendly individual who wouldn’t plan on thieving or hacking her way into anything. She may pull a joke or two, but beyond that mischief isn’t quite her thing. That being said she does portray a level of sarcasm and sass that is evident in most raccoons, even if hers is of the more friendly type.
As chill as she is, she’s also quite stubborn in her ways. It is quite hard to change her mind of something, even if another way would be a better option. Rylie will always be set in her ways, and she does things how she thinks they should be done, not what other people tell her it should be. This can easily get her into a lot of trouble or just in a really bad situation. However, her stubbornness does grant her the ability to resist being persuaded into something that she doesn’t want to do.
Rylie is really good at speaking her mind, being rather blunt in the process. It isn’t necessarily a bad thing, for even the best of people need a slap of reality every once in awhile, but sometimes Rylie doesn’t know when to dial it back and not sound a little mean in the process. This usually comes out when she just really doesn’t want to take your bull anymore, or if she feels that someone needs to know the cold harsh truth.
One thing hardly anyone sees on this raccoon is sadness or fear. Rylie believes that she doesn’t have the luxury to be sad or afraid, and hides it away. This is a very unhealthy habit of hers, but if your entire race had been stereotyped to steal and rob, wouldn’t you want to hide those feelings too?

History
History: As a child growing up, her family never had much. They lived in a rickity old apartment building and barely had enough to feed themselves. Rylie, even though she was an accident, was still loved by her parents and two older brothers. They made do with what they had, and never took anything for granted.
Often to help their family, Rylie and her two older brothers would go out to see if anyone needed anything done for a few dollars. Most would decline and shut the door on them, not wanting raccoons in their home, but some were open-minded and kind enough to allow them to mow their lawn, do their dishes, or even clean their homes. It put some kind of food on the table, and it allowed the three siblings to bond closer than three pieces of paper super glued together.
As Rylie grew into a teenager, things became a little better for them. Both of her brothers, now out of high school, had jobs to provide for the family, while Rylie held a part time job. School didn’t treat her very well though, as many of the students accused her for stealing items that she did not even take, called her names and even pushed her around. She learned how to deal with it, to bottle it away and to never show weakness while getting through high school the best she could.
During the last few years of high school she decided to get into computer programming, of which she excelled greatly at. She practiced at every opportunity she could, even going so far as to stay a couple extra hours after school. This caught the eye of a local computer company that could use a raccoon like herself, and so they offered her a job for when she graduated. Of course, she agreed to take it.
For the next few years after that things were going well. She earned enough to move out, her parents having been able to finally switch jobs that paid a little more for themselves. Rylie herself had moved into an apartment that was rather cheap, but it was home for her. She has been like this since, although is now thinking of potentially switching her job to the force to maybe help them with cases that need expert computer skills.
