Appearance



Fur/Tail: Ginny has typical markings to her species. There is a ‘birthmark’ spot vaguely shaped like a heart under her right eye, though some speculate that she did that herself. Her tail fur is long and neatly trimmed on the ends. Like her mane, she’s got it bleached in an ombre fashion. Sometimes she dyes it.



Clothing: Her fashion sense can be best described as quirky and preppy. She likes odd prints combined with a studious look. Being a giraffe, it’s usually her torso that ends up dressed, and she rarely wears long sleeves and pants.

Overview: Virginia has a rather lanky build, to the point of being visibly underweight. She has a long, graceful stride, though tends to be clumsy around creatures shorter than her. In fact, she has a bit of difficulty gauging the size of the environment around her and perceiving depth. She refuses to wear glasses to correct this, however. Her mane is rather long at the top of her head, and she keeps this styled well.





Personality



Personality Description: Virginia, despite her rather large presence, is a demure young lady. She tends to keep to herself and doesn’t like too many distractions whenever she is doing work. She hates the fact that she takes up a lot of space and tends to trip over small items. This doesn’t mean she’s completely shy, though. She enjoys having fun and meeting new animals, at least when she’s not busy. Which is incidentally, a lot. She has a blog that she constantly updates to, and honestly lives her life as a bigger persona online than in real life. Despite this, she is hardly a couch potato. She finds that she can’t sit still for too long before becoming restless. After all, how can she be Instaram famous if all she does is sit in her dorm all day?



That being said, she is a college student struggling a bit to get by. She’s a bit indecisive in what she wanted her major to be, but recently she has finally settled on massage therapy and spa management, with a minor in alternative health. She wishes to one be a spa technician in her own practice. It fits her, too- she’s patient, kind, and likes to make other animals feel better. Despite what may assume to be a stand-offish nature, Virginia really means the best at heart. Though she’s a bit of a workaholic, she tries her best to make time for the people that matter to her the most. Maybe this reflects her own low self-esteem, but she doesn’t let anyone see that side of her.

History



History: Virginia came from an upper low-income family, living in the rough spots of Sahara Square. Being one of four siblings, she’s had a tough time getting the proper attention she needed growing up to make her feel like she mattered. The only time she really got attention from her busy parents was when she started working at age 13, taking up odd jobs and babysitting gigs. Since then, her parents had devoted more time to her as they appreciated her contributions to the family. As she grew older, she took up more jobs, not to only impress her distant family, but to eventually support the young lady she was blossoming into. The hard-knock highschool she went to was a place she wanted to badly to graduate from. Her parents never had graduated, and she wanted to prove that she could survive it all. And she did.



At last, her parents were proud of her for being the first of her family to graduate and get accepted into a university in central city. For the first time in her life, she was granted the chance to spread her metaphorical wings and make something of herself. She garnered enough money too from working to get herself the luxuries she’s dreamed of. Though she stumbled a bit in her first few years, Virginia eventually settled on massage therapy, due to taking up a job as a receptionist in a well-to-do clinic in the wealthier section of the city. Since then, Virginia has been working hard to ensure that her dream comes true. She started a blog a year ago to record her adventures, and has since garnered a decent amount of followers.
